There is specified a knee-joint endoprosthesis, the femoral part of which has a fork on the lower end of the femoral stem and the tibial part of which has a tibial plateau on the upper end of the tibial stem. A hinge part is pivotably mounted between the fork on a hinge bolt. The hinge part possesses a guide pin which projects into an axial bore in the tibial part. Convexly curved condyle shells which ventrally have an intercondyle indentation are formed on the fork of the femoral part. The tibial plateau has supporting surfaces which correspond to the condyle shells and are concavely curved in the ventrodorsal direction. A protuberance is formed between the supporting surfaces ventrally on the tibial plateau. An annular recess is incorporated around the axial bore, and into this the hinge part is rotatably mounted with an appropriate annular attachment.
