Belt feed system for banknotes with double belt loops e.g. in games machine

A feed transport system for such as banknotes consists of a pair of continuous belt loops (1,2) that are in contact with the banknotes (17) located in between. The belts pass around rollers (3,4), with one of them being motor driven. Increased contact force is provided by using belts produced from a material containing magnetic particles. The particles are magnetised with the correct polarity by passing across a magnetic source (12).
