PURPOSE:To adjust an organic magnetic material obtained by oxidizing a thiophene derivative expressed by a specific formula to a target particle size by press-molding the material. CONSTITUTION:This magnetic material is manufactured by press-molding an organic magnetic material obtained by oxidizing a thiophene derivative expressed by the general formula (where, R1 and R2 respectively represent hydrogen or 1-6C alkyl group). Since the bulky organic magnetic material shows very strong magnetization as compared with other organic magnetic materials, is low in density and soft in quality as compared with inorganic magnetic materials, and can be molded to a complicated shape, it is expected that the magnetic material can be used not only for the applications of the conventional magnetic materials, but also for the applications which have been not suitable for inorganic magnetic materials. |
