A gate latch consists of one part (24) which rotates on a pin (22) fixed to a support (20) embedded in the ground. On one end of the latch is the arrowhead (26), the other end a counterweight (28). The head is pointed (30) sloping towards the bottom with a cut-out section (36) immediately behind it to receive the bottom of the gate. At the other end (37) of the cut-out section the latch is deeper to form the counterweight. The opposite side of the latch to the cut-out section is straight except for the arrowhead. It is available with a three part head and adjustable cut-out section to accommodate various gate widths. USE- Can be used for doors or gates.
