<p>Apparatus and method for performing extracorporeal treatment of a patient's blood for various conditions. The apparatus includes means by which an extracorporeal blood circuit is defined. The apparatus includes a module which integrates a number of components into a single unit. The various components include a pump (34'), heat exchanger (32), and means for sensing the temperature, pressure and flow rate of the blood as it passes through the extracorporeal circuit.
