PURPOSE:To easily and satisfactorily adjust the holding power via the lapping of the inner face section of the outer crown of a cornus crown denture by forming the outside face section of an abrasive fitted and formed on the tip side of a support shaft into a cylindrical shape coaxial with the support shaft. CONSTITUTION:A denture holding power adjusting tool has a support shaft 1 and an abrasive 2 fitted and formed on its tip side. The outside face section of the abrasive 2 is formed into a cylindrical shape coaxial with the support shaft 1, its length is set to about 7-10mm, and its diameter is set to about 2.5-4.5mm. An angle of about 90 deg. is formed between the tip face section and the periphery section of the abrasive 2, and a circular ridge section is formed at the periphery section of the tip face section. The thickness of the abrasive 2 fitted on the tip section of the support shaft 1 is set to 1mm or below. |
