Immunosensor for quantitative determn. of components in liq. comprises: (a) an electrochemical, optical or gravimetric sensor; (b) a membrane located in front of or directly on the sensors; and (c) protein Clq immobilised on the membrane as capture reagent. Also claimed is a method for quantitative determn. of components in liq., comprising: (1) contacting an immunosensor loaded with protein Clq as capture reagent with a test soln. contg. antibodies, antibody derivs., antigens and/or haptens as components; (2) after the measurement process, contacting the immunosensor with a regenerating soln. contg. a reagent capable of dissociated the target component from the protein Clq; and (3) determining another component. ADVANTAGE - The sensor has high selectivity and sensitivity, gives fast response times, and can be regenerated repeatedly (e.g. more than 100 times) without loss of biological properties.
