PURPOSE:To surely send a still picture to each conference room from a conference from which the still picture is to be sent. CONSTITUTION:When a still picture is sent, a still picture transmission request signal is sent to a transmitter 5 and a line changeover device 4 via a controller 13 by making a transmission request of the still picture with an operation panel 12 of a conference room 1. Upon the receipt of the still picture transmission request signal, the transmitter 5 sends a video image picked up by a still picture camera 9 to the line changeover device 4 as the still picture and the same still picture as that to be sent is displayed on a still picture display monitor 11 of its own conference room. On the other hand, a video audio signal including the still picture of the conference room 1 is sent to conference rooms 2,3 by using the still picture transmission request signal through the line changeover device 4 sent from the conference room 1. The received video and audio signal to be received is sent to a moving picture monitor 10, a speaker 7 and a still picture monitor 11 via the transmitter 5 in the conference rooms 2,3 where the signal is displayed and heard. |
