Device for closing bottles, with a cap (2) for covering the neck (6) of the bottle and for surrounding it externally; a body (10) which can penetrate into the neck (6), this body being provided with a stop (14) limiting the penetration; and an element (12) for positioning the body (10) with respect to the cap (2), this element being provided with means (24) of fitting to the internal surface of the cap (2); between the body (10) and the positioning element (12) there is a joining together by weak means (26) such that they form a single piece, in which the positioning element (12) reaches a level higher than that reached by the body (10).
