SIMULATION METHOD AND APPARATUS

A system and method are provided for simulating behaviours of a system, wherein the system is represented by a plurality of interacting frames, each frame describing information relating to an event of said system, and by a chain which defines how an event occurring in one frame affects other frames. The system simulates an event occurrence which is scheduled at a simulation time in one of said frames and performs simulation limited to events having an intentional chain to said simulated event.
