PURPOSE:To improve the shelf stability, coloring property and water resistance of a heat-sensitve recording paper by forming a binder ingredient of a heat- sensitive coloring layer which is applied on a base material of the heat-sensitive recording paper with a latex which is obtained by emulsion-polymirizing a specified plurality of monomers by a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION:For the subject heat-senstive recording paper, a heat-sensitive coloring layer is applied on a base material made of a paper or plastic film, etc. In this case, the binder ingredient of the heat-sensitive coloring layer is formed by a specified latex. The specified latex is obtained by emultion- polymerization with 26-34 wt.% aliphatic conjugated diolefinic monomer, 61-73wt.% monoolefinic aliphatic monomer and 1-5wt.% olefinic carboxylic acid monomer and/or unsturated monoolefinic monomer, in the constituent polymer ingredients. Also, 0.2-1.0wt.% surface active agent is used to the constituent monomer ingredients. In addition, the gel content of the latex is set in a range of 60-80 wt.%. |
