Method and glazing system for creating a type of glazing having two glass panes (2, 3) spaced in a first direction, the space between the glass panes being cut off from the environment by closing or barrier means (13, 14) extending all around and defining a cavity, dessicants (8, 9) being disposed inside the cavity so as to abstract moisture from the air in the cavity. After the cavity has been sealed, it is permanently enlarged so as to create a subatmospheric pressure therein. |
