A process for the optimal hair deformation treatment of hair, e.g., human hair, that has been wound onto a roller, the deformation of the roller body that takes place during the hair deformation treatment being detected and passed as measured values to a measured value processing system, this system then comparing at least one preset measured value characteristic, which corresponds to an optimal course of the treatment, with the values that are measured, and which indicates agreement thereof. In addition, an apparatus for carrying out the process is also described. |
