NEW MATERIAL:Phospholipase A2 inhibitor. Molecular formula: C35H58O17. Melting point: 180-186 deg.C (decomposition). USE:Preventing and treating diseases caused by enzyme activity of phospholipase. PREPARATION:A strain {9146/28}e.g. Thielavia terricola FR-143 (FERM P-2,196){9147/28} belonging to the genus Thielavia, capable of producing the objective compound, is cultured in a liquid under an aerobic condition and the objective substance is collected from the culture solution. In the case of Thielavia terricola FR-143, spinner culture in a flask preferably carried out at 28 deg.C for 1-10 days. |
