The bucket wheel valve is used for dispensing and measuring out loose material. It has a vertical shaft to which are fixed radial blades (14,15) which form a rotor (12) rotating in a cylindrical housing (1). The radially outer edges of the blades (14,15) are joined to an annular casing (16). The annular gap (31) between the casing (16) and the housing (1) is sealed by seals (28,29) which are hedl between the housing (1) and lid (2,32). USE/ADVANTAGE - The bucket wheel valve for handling loose material, has a reduced air leakage, and works with greater efficiency.
