The armature (15) is retained by a spring (34) in an opening (14) in a sheet metal housing (11) which has an attachment to its base (13) consisting of a valve housing (40) and an insert (44) esp. of plastic having a larger coefft. of thermal expansion. The main housing (11) and the connection of the valve housing (40) are preassembled together and encapsulated in a plastic moulding (53). The armature (15) rests between the valve insert (44) and a plastic sleeve (29) fitted into the cylindrical metallic core (23). ADVANTAGE - Electrical and hydraulic functional values are stabilised and optimised in nearly all temp. conditions.
