<p>PURPOSE:To secure a good reproduced output envelope at the time of normal as well as reverse rotation by suppressing floating of a tape from the lead of a cylinder in both running direction of tape normal rotation and tape reverse rotation. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical guide post 5 provided with a flange 5a to prescribe the running position in the tape width direction is mounted on an entrance-side guide base 3, and a cylindrical guide post 8 provide with a flange 8a is mounted on an exit-side guide base 4. A cylindrical guide post 7 provided with a flange 7a is inserted between cylindrical guide posts 10 and 8. Though a tape 2 tries to float in the vicinity of the entrance point, its position is controlled downward by the flange 8a of the guide post 8, and the height of the flange 7a of the guide post 7 is so set that this flange does not come into contact with the tape 2. Though the tape 2 tries to go downward in the vicinity of the exit point, it is controlled upward by the flange 5a of the cylindrical guide post 5. Thus, a good reproduced output envelope is obtained at the time of normal rotation as well as reverse rotation.</p> |
