PURPOSE:To facilitate and ensure the installation of a lead wire by providing a cutter part for cutting the coat of the lead wire, the base end part of which cutter part is formed of a curved elastic metal plate, an inclined part for peeling the coat, and a face press contact part for supporting and pressing the lead wire. CONSTITUTION:When a lead wire 20 is press-fitted to a cutter part 12 in the state with a coat 21, the coat is notched. When the lead wire 20 is pushed downward, then, the coat 21 is peeled along an inclined part 13. When the lead wire 20 is further pushed downward, an exposed core wire 22 is laid into a form nipped by a face press contact part 14, and the lead wire 20 is brought into contact with a terminal. The base end part 11 of the terminal is laid in curved state and formed of an elastic metal, the difference in wire diameter of the core wire 22 is absorbed, and it is pressed into contact with the terminal by a fixed spring pressure. Hence, the lead wire can be easily and surely installed only by the direct insertion into the terminal without requiring any troublesome work. |
