The subject of the present invention is a tubular spacer intended for ensuring the longitudinal positioning of adjacent cylindrical explosive cartridges (11) relative to one another in a blast hole (2). This spacer is characterised in that each of its ends comprises a tubular part (3) intended for receiving part of one of the adjacent cartridges (11) and comprises elastic retention means intended for ensuring retention of the said part and allowing the longitudinal positioning of the cartridge (11) inside the spacer. <IMAGE>
