PURPOSE:To manufacture a chromium stainless steel sheet excellent in surface properties and formability by hot-rolling a chromium stainless steel slab to form its sheet material, thereafter subjecting the sheet material to winding and slow cooling treatment under specified temp. conditions and cold-rolling and finishing-annealing it without necessitating the annealing after the hot-rolling. CONSTITUTION:A chromium stainless steel steel slab contg. 10-20wt% Cr and <0.08wt% Al is hot-rolled and wound around a coil at the temp. range of 750- 1,000 deg.C and slowly cooled till the temp. of at least <=700 deg.C in the cooling velocity of <=50 deg.C/hr. Thereafter, the chromium stainless steel sheet excellent in surface properties and formability is manufactured at low cost by cold-rolling and finishing annealing it without performing annealing of the hot-rolled sheet. |
