IONIC CONDUCTIVE MATERIAL AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject colorless transparent material capable of providing a high reliability article free from leakage of liquid and side effects and having a resistance to lowering of the inner resistance with time when utilized for an electronic device, etc., by blending a crosslinked copolymer obtained by a reaction between two kinds of organopolysiloxanes with a metallic ion. CONSTITUTION:A crosslinked copolymer synthesized by a reaction between (A) an organopolysiloxane having two or more carboxyl group-containing hydrocarbon groups in one molecule and (B) an organopolysiloxane having a polyoxyalkylene chain of the formula (R<1> is monovalent organic group) R<2> and R<3> are alkylene; R<4> is monovalent organic group; (2) and (n) are 0-1000 integer; (m) is 2-1000; (p) is 1-100) is blended with (C) a metal ion belonging to group I or group II of the periodic table. The resultant mixture is cured by heating.
