PURPOSE:To permit the curing within the time for practical use only by the kneading with water and to increase strength by reducing porosity by mixing alpha-type tertiary calcium phosphate which possesses the self curing faculty and a slight quantity of secondary calcium phosphate hydrate which is slightly acidic, in a specific Ca/P molar ratio. CONSTITUTION:alpha-type tertiary calcium phosphate and secondary calcium phosphate di-hydrate are mixed and formed to the mixed powder having a Ca/P molar ratio of 1.470-1.498, and the cement composition is prepared from the mixed powder as main component. Accordingly, this material possesses high strength and small porosity, and can be effectively used for the medical cement for filling the defective bone part and the bone cavity part, and in particular, can be suitably used for the dental cement such as tooth root part filler. |
