<p>PURPOSE:To detect open state or fault of a diode quite easily by applying the output from a power source converting circuit onto the diode and connecting them in parallel, thereafter feeding DC power to a load and monitoring the voltage at the input of the diode through a monitoring section. CONSTITUTION:A voltage stabilizing circuit 7 monitores the output voltages of diodes 3, 4 which are then compared with a reference value, and a switching transistor Tr is controlled in accordance with the comparison results. When any one of the diodes 3, 4 enters into open or short circuit fault state, comparator 5 or 6 outputs '1' and a diode fault signal is outputted from an OR gate 8. A power source equipment B produces an alarm when an open or short circuit fault occurs in an output matching diode.</p> |
