PURPOSE:To easily manage without requiring an operator to go to a place where an image forming device is installed by accumulating the information of the errors of the image forming device, etc., in a storage means, and transmitting it to a receiving means when prescribed information is requested. CONSTITUTION:The information of the errors of an electronic copying machine 1 and various management information including the number of copying papers, etc., are accumulated and stored in a memory 61; when requested, information is transmitted to an external equipment 81, which is installed away from the electronic copying machine 1, such as a facsimile equipment via a modulator/ demodulator 66 and a line 80. Therefore, various management information can be obtained on the side of the external equipment 81. Thus, plural electronic copying machines can be controlled by using the installation place of the external equipment 81 as a center, and efficient management can be achieved. |
