PURPOSE:To dispense with the positioning of a ring fitting and a air bag mount ing base and conduct the installation easily and certainly by preliminarily bonding the ring fitting integrally to the mounting base part in an air bag in which its mounting base part is supported between a support fitting and the ring fitting. CONSTITUTION:An air bag 3 has its mounting base part 3a supported between a support fitting 6 apd a ring fitting 8. The mounting base part 3a is fastened integrally with the flange part of an inflator not shown, the support fitting 6 and the ring fitting 8. In the above constitution, the ring fitting 8 is preliminari ly connected to the mounting base part 3a. Respective holes 10, 11 are bored in the same positions of the mounting base part 3a and the ring fitting 8. After the respective holes 10, 11 and a hole 12 bored in the support fitting 6 are mutually fitted, one fixture 9 is inserted through these holes, and its top end 9a is caulked. Hence, the installation of the mounting base 3a can be conducted easily and certainly. |
