The filter element of the invention is clamped in a frame (28) consisting of two tie-rods (29) and two end pieces (30, 31). It consists of two end plates (20, 21) and at least one spiral plate (1) and at least two bearer plates (11) with filter plates (16) inserted between the end plates (20, 21). On each of their plane machined surfaces, the spiral plates (1) have a spiral groove (7) of approximately semicircular cross-section with at least one periphery recessed. In addition, each surface of the spiral plate (1) has a round depression (4) with a boss (5) in the shape of the bottom of a bottle. The groove (7) is surrounded by a circular channel (2) which is also recessed. The helicity of both grooves (7) in a spiral plate (1) is the same; their outer ends are interconnected by a drilling (8) at a shallow angle to the surface of the spiral plate (1). The inner ends of the grooves (7) are each connected to the recess (4) by a drilling (6) running substantially parallel to the surface of the spiral plate (1). With the exception of the channel (2), the end plates (20, 21) have the same characteristics as one side of the spiral plate (1). |
