A mixing apparatus for spraying out a liquid mixture of at least two liquid media from a separate supply of each, especially for de-icing surfaces of aircraft, for example, has a number of liquid pumps 1, 2 corresponding to the number of media, the pumps opening out into a common spray pipe 5. The pumps are each driven by a separate hydraulic motor 9, 10, which are connected in series to a common hydraulic pressure pump 11, which is controlled with pressure compensation as a function of the flow of medium on the output side of the apparatus. Each motor 9, 10 has a volume which is variable 13, 14 from a maximum to a minimum and vice-versa, and which for the purposes of adjustment are at the same time controlled inversely proportional to one another by an electrical control unit. <IMAGE>
