PURPOSE:To eliminate a lowering of copying capacity and the strike through of ink and to improve the separability between sets by providing a hiding layer containing a repellent to at least one of the front and rear surfaces of a support. CONSTITUTION:A hiding layer containing a repellent is provided to at least one of the front and rear surfaces of the support in pressure-sensitive copy paper utilizing the color forming reaction of an electron donating leuco dye with an electron acceptive coupler. In this case, since the hiding layer is formed to the support by a coating method, a basis wt. may be reduced and copying capacity is not lowered. Since no pigment is added to the support, the strength of paper is not also lowered. Further, sizing aptitude is improved because of the addition of the repellent. Inorg. or org. pigment low in transmissivity of visible light is used in the hiding layer and, as the repellent (size agent) to be added, for example, a styrene/acrylic resin wax emulsion, calcium stearate, silicone oil, a paraffin emulsion, alkylketene dimer and metal soap are designated. |
