<p>PURPOSE:To sent a picture normally independently of the transmission mode by switching an input picture signal inputted to a field memory based on an output signal of an interlace signal discrimination means. CONSTITUTION:When an input picture signal is discriminated to be an interlace signal by an interlace signal discrimination means 116, a signal of a field A is inputted to a field memory A independently of the transmission mode and a signal of a field B is inputted in a field memory B by the changeover of switching means 105-108. Moreover, when the input picture signal is discriminated to be a noninterlace signal, the changeover means 105-108 are changed over so that the signal of the same field is inputted to the field memories A, B. Thus, the picture is sent normally independently of the transmission mode.</p> |
