PROCESS FOR SCREENING AN EXPRESSION cDNA CLONE BANK FOR POLYNUCLEOTIDES

摘要

A process is disclosed for screening vegetable expression cDNA clone banks by means of IgE antibodies from the serum of allergic patients. This kind of screening is useful for finding polynucleotides whose the open reading frame codes for allergenic proteins. These proteins are characterized by the fact that their allergenic biological activity matches that of natural vegetable allergens.
