摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of wrinkles under high temperature and humidity by forming sheet paper, the thickness of the base material of an ink layer thereof is 5-25mum, density thereof 0.8-1.45g/cm<3> and moisture content thereof after shaping the ink layer 6-13wt%. CONSTITUTION:The sheet paper 3A, thickness thereof is made 5-25mum and density thereof 0.8-1.45g/cm<3> and moisture content thereof after forming the ink layer is adjusted to 6-13%, is changed into the base material of the ink layer having fluidizing or sublimating property through heating. It is preferable that the thickness of the ink layer is 15mum or less. Moisture is increased by passing the thermal transfer recording medium 3 through a chamber at a high temperature or spraying moisture against surfaces, on which ink is not applied, in atomizing form. When thermal energy is transmitted to the ink layer 3B through the sheet paper 3A, ink 3B1 which has sublimated is moved to the recording paper 13 side and ink 3B2 not sublimated is left.
