The pollutant-destroying refuse incineration plant without a stack is rotatably mounted in accordance with the egg timer principle and incinerates refuse in a carbonisation process at low temperatures. In this case, the flue gases released during the incineration process are fed via an energy feedline to a second oil burner by injection into the hot oil burner flame at about 2000@C, so that refuse is incinerated at an optimum incineration temperature without the toxic flue gases being passed through a stack into the open. The remaining residual ash is brought, with the exclusion of oxygen, to a temperature of 300@C, dioxins being decomposed. The remaining residual ash suitable for landfill is deposited mixed with the acid released during the incineration, heavy metals being precipitated, so that a new product has been formed from the incineration ash, which is suitable for landfill and can be made available to industry.
