<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a sanitary rubber product having excellent physical and chemical properties, by incorporating a specified fine powdered PE into a rubber composed mainly of an isobutylene-isoprene copolymer to vulcanize and mold it. CONSTITUTION:5-50pts.wt. fine powdered PE having an average molecular weight of 1,000,000-1,000,000,000 and particle sizes finer than 100mesh, 0.1- 2pts.wt. vulcanizing agent, 0.1-2pts.wt. vulcanizing accelerator and, if necessary, 1-20pts.wt. inorganic reinforcing filler (e.g. clay) are incorporated into a rubber composed mainly of an isobutylene-isoprene copolymer having a degree of unsaturation of 0.1-2.5mol%, a Mooney viscosity of 40-89, and an average molecular weight of 300,000-640,000, which is then vulcanized and molded.
