A container for storage and/or transportation of electronic devices or parts, comprises a top part (1) and a bottom part (5) which are sealingly assembled by way of a groove (4) and a tongue (3) with the interposition of an elastic seal (7). At least the inner surfaces of the top part (1) and the bottom part (5) are provided with a current-conducting layer (11, 12). To increase the service life of the seal, even in an attacking environment, the seal (7) is provided with a further current- conducting layer (13) on the side thereof which faces towards the middle of the container, approximately as far as its central plane. In addition the current-conducting layer (11, 12) on the top part (1) and the bottom part (5) is also taken only approximately as far as the central plane of the seal (7). <IMAGE>
