PURPOSE:To easily inject magnetic fluid to prolong the life of a sealing device by forming the magnetic seal faces of ball pieces with plural projecting and recessed parts respectively, and arranging both the ball pieces so that their parts may not overlap mutually. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic fluid sealing device has a ring-shaped permanent magnet 10 and the first and the second ring plate-shaped ball piece 12a, 12b attached to its both faces. The magnetic seal faces of the ball pieces 12a, 12b are formed with recessed parts 18a, 18b and projecting part 19a, 19b respectively. Both the ball pieces 12a, 12b are discrepantly arranged so that the recessed parts 18a, 18b and projecting parts 19a, 19b may not overlap mutually. Magnetic fluid can thus be easily injected, and the life of a sealing device can therefore be prolonged. |
