<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a reproducing device for an optical recording medium which performs fast reading and improves a transfer rate by receiving light introduced via plural data strings on the optical recording medium, respectively, and outputting electrical signals corresponding to received light separately. CONSTITUTION:In a reproducing means which performs the reproduction of sequence of points on the optical recording medium 1 having plural data strings on a light recording plane, the title device is constituted in such a way that different images are image-formed on the plural data strings on the optical recording medium 1 by the light emitted from a light source in a first image- forming optical system. The video of plural optical images on the optical recording medium 1 by the light source and the first image-forming optical system are formed from plural reflected light from the optical recording medium in a second image-forming optical system, and the light introduced from the second image-forming optical system via the plural data strings on the optical recording medium 1 are received, respectively, and the electrical signals corresponding to those received light are outputted separately. In such a way, it is possible to read plural tracks simultaneously, and to perform the reading at high speed without increasing travel speed, and to improve the transfer rate.</p> |
