PURPOSE:To obtain a transparent gel cosmetic, having beautiful appearance and capable of imparting makeup and skin care effects while holding effects as a display, by dispersing a colorant in a transparent gel base consisting of a water-soluble high polymer in the form of linear patterns. CONSTITUTION:The aimed substance obtained by continuously filling a colorant in an amount of 0.001-10wt.% based on the total cosmetic in a transparent gel base prepared by dissolving a water-soluble high polymer, such as methyl cellulose or polyvinyl alcohol, in water and dispersing the colorant in the form of linear patterns by a simultaneous filling method. The colorant is called a pigment or dye and titanium oxide, Red No. 204, Blue No. 1, lanolin, etc., are exemplified. Such colorants are preferably used by subjecting to water repellent treatment with a silicone oil, etc. The filling ratio of the transparent base gel to the colorant gel is 80:20-99:1. |
