PURPOSE:To prevent a sleeve plate for gravure printing manufactured by electroforming method from being deviated in position by slippage on a cylinder by mounting the plate, which was once applied with a tension load in the direction of its circumference and then removed from it, on a cylinder for printing in close fit state. CONSTITUTION:A sleeve plate S for gravure printing manufactured by electroforming method is mounted around a drive roller 8 and a moving roller 10 supported between arms 4a, 4b provided at both ends of a mechanical frame 2, and the sleeve plate S is applied with tension load as it is rotated in the direction of its circumference by operating a drive motor 16 which causes the roller 8 to rotate through a belt 20, a pulley 14 and a shaft 6, and by causing a hydraulic cylinder 34 to extend to cause the roller 10 to move downward through a rod 30 and a load arm 24. Then the plate is dismounted from rollers 8, 10 and relieved from the tension load, and after that the plate is mounted around the outer circumference of a cylinder for printing in the close fit condition. |
