PURPOSE:To capacitate the long term use even in an area with poor water quality and at the same time maintain the initial heat collection efficiency by a structure wherein the evaporator end and the condenser end of a heat pipe are composed of separate parts and anticorrosive treatment is applied to the outside surface of the condenser end. CONSTITUTION:The condenser end 3b and the evaporator end 3a of the heat pipe 3 are composed of separate parts and anticorrosive treatment such as plating, coating or the like is applied to the outside surface of the condenser end 3b before the joining work of both the ends 3b and 3a. And yet the joining of the condenser end 3b and the evaporator end 3a are performed by brazing at the position outside a hot water storage tank 2. In the heat pipe as mentioned above, the rays of the sun transmitted a glass body 10 boils a working liquid 15 sealed in the heat pipe so as to generate vapor. The vapor travels to the condenser end 3b of the heat pipe 3 and, at the same time, the vapor condenses there by being cooled at the condenser end 3b. By the condensation of the vapor, the heat in the vapor is heat-transferred to the water 11 in the hot water storage tank 2 in order to heat the water 11. The working liquid 15 liquefied by condensation flows down in the heat pipe 3 back to the evaporator end 3a in order to be evaporated so as to repeat the above-mentioned action. |
