PURPOSE:To throw a sheet-shaped material into a hopper efficiently without manual operations by diagonally cutting the sheet-shaped material and positioning the same and then throwing its tapered end securely into a hopper inlet. CONSTITUTION:The end of a rough textile 3 supplied into an throw-in conveyer 16 is cut at a sharp angle theta by a cutting device 30 and conveyed by a belt 19. After the rough textile 3 passes through the cutting device 30 and conveyed to the left to a certain extent, the conveyer 16 is stopped, and a cylinder 52 is driven to project a press plate 56 backward. Hence the end of the rough textile 3 is pushed toward a positioning plate 57 to be positioned. The conveyer 16 is again moved after the press plate 56 is returned to the front, and the end of the rough textile 3 is moved left along the reference surface of a positioning plate 57, guided by a guide belt 22 to change its direction downward and moved to an inlet of the hopper 25. The tip end of the rough textile 3 goes into a hopper 25 along the inner side surface of the inlet of the hopper 25 to be put into a screw 27 and a feed roll 28, and the rough textile 3 is brought into an extruder 26. |
