PURPOSE:To mold a long cylindrical product having a substantially uniform thickness in a high dimensional accuracy by using themotropic liquid crystal resin, and forming a long cylindrical injection molded form in which circumferential and longitudinal thicknesses are substantially uniform. CONSTITUTION:A long cylindrical injection molded form 1 in which circumferential and longitudinal thicknesses are substantially uniform is formed by using thermotropic liquid crystal resin. In the case of manufacturing, molten resin fed from an injection unit of an injection molding machine through a sprue 2 and a runner 3 is charged from a gate in a cylinder. A column 6 for forming an inner surface of the form 1 is assembled in the molds. Further, the molds are formed in an integral structure (a stationary mold 4 and a movable mold 5) to be opened to left and right molds at a center of the form 1 as a boundary, and a recess for molding an outside of the form 1 is formed. Thus, the form 1 in which its thickness is substantially uniform is molded in a high dimensional accuracy. |
