PURPOSE:To obtain a power-saved illumination control device capable of simplifying a control circuit and reducing its price by varying the output voltage of illumination control with large load capacity by a magnetic control type voltage adjuster having primary, secondary and control windings. CONSTITUTION:When a person is separated from an illuminating zone, an illuminance setter is connected to a comparator by a human body sensor 114 in a control circuit 34. Thereby, the waveform of an output signal from a terminal 128 of the circuit 34 goes narrow pulse width, the flow dividing ratio of a semiconductor switch 88 is reduced, DC exciting current I' is increased, the voltage of an illuminating load 18 is reduced, and illuminance is automatically turned to a low level. If incident outer light upon the illuminating zone approaches a maximum illuminance level when a reference illuminance setter is set up to the maximum illuminance level, a compared voltage level is reduced by a light intensity sensor 118. Thereby, the width of an output pulse signal from the terminal 128 is reduced, the flow dividing ratio of the switch 88 is reduced, the input voltage of the load 18 is reduced, and the illuminance is automatically reduced. Thus, useless energy consumption can be suppressed. |
