Testing of electric conduction networks with the aid of sensors (3) which convey an analog image of the electromagnetic field, generated by the activated test piece (1), after A/D conversion (in 4) to an apparatus (5a) for fast Fourier transformation. The Fourier transforms are stored in a memory (5b) and compared in a comparator (5d) with the desired state stored in a further memory (5c). The result of the comparison is transmitted to a central computer (6) for evaluation. Advantageous application both in the field of development and in the fields of production and errorprocessing. <IMAGE>
