PURPOSE:To aim at the elimination of any twist in a seat belt by making a support ring of a seat belt fixture to be installed in the pillar part of a body parallel both the long sides and forming both the short sides into a circular form, while making each space of these long sides smaller than each inner circumferential diameter of these short sides. CONSTITUTION:A seat belt, whose end is engaged with a take-up part installed in the lower part of a pillar part of a body, is passed through a support ring 13 of a fixture 11 received on an upper part of the pillar part, supporting the shoulder and the body of a rider, and the belt is fixed in an engaged part at the seat side, thereby aiming at protection of people aboard. Both long sides 13a of the support ring 13 of the fixture 11 are parallel with each other, and both short sides 13b are formed into a circular form. A space T between both these long sides is made smaller than an inner circumferential diameter (d) of the short sides. According to this method, the seat belt is passed through the space T of these long sides whereby any twist in the seat belt is eliminated without attaching an auxiliary projecting piece or the like, thus eat belt operation can be done in an accurate manner. |
