PURPOSE:To obtain a resin composition excellent in transparency and electric conductivity and suitable for a film or casing material for holding or storing semiconductor components such as IC and LSI, by mixing a transparent resin with a specified electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:A transparent electroconductive resin composition prepared by mixing a transparent resin such as PVC or an epoxy resin with at least one electrolyte of the formula: MnXs [wherein M is Ag, Mg, Cu, Co, Fe, Li, Na, K, Ca, N(CH3)4, N(C2H5)4, N(C3H7)4, N(C4H9)4 or N-Ph4; X is Cl, Br, I, BF4, PF6, AsF6, SbF6, ClO6, ClO4, NO3, SO3, SO4 or CO3; n=1-3 and s=1-3]. This resin composition has transparency and electric conductivity, and is suitable as a material for films or cases for holding or storing semiconductor components such as IC and LSI.
