PURPOSE:To obtain the titled flat film extremely useful as a magnetic base film outstanding in slipperiness and shaving resistance, by incorporating an aromatic polyester with each specific silicone resin particles and inert fine particles. CONSTITUTION:(A) An aromatic polyester is incorporated with (B) 0.005-2.0wt.% of silicone resin fine particles having an average size d (0.01<=d<0.3)mum and composition expressed by formula (R is 1-7C hydrocarbon; x is 1-1.2) with volume shape factor (f) defined by equation f=V/D<3> [V is average volume per particle (mum<3>); D is average maximum particle size (mum)] being 0.4<f<=pi/6 (pref. 0.44-pi/6) and (C) 0.005-2.0wt.% of other inert particles having an average size 0.01-0.3mum with this average size smaller than that of the component B followed by forming into the objective biaxially oriented film. |
