PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition excellent in stability at ordinary temperatures which cures rapidly at a relatively low temperature when heated and to provide a good cured product, by blending an epoxy resin, a hydrazide compound and a dibasic acid in a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION:A resin composition comprises as components an epoxy resin (a), a hydrazide compound (b) and a dibasic acid (c), with the mol. ratio of the component (b) to (c) being in the range of 9/1-1/3. In the component (c), when comparing a dibasic acid having chain of even number of carbons with a dibasic acid having chain of uneven number of carbons, the case wherein one having chain of even number of carbons as the component (c) is used is better in storage stability than he case wherein one having chain of uneven number of carbons is used. With respect to the amounts of the components (b) and (c) to be blended, it is suitable that the total equivalent number of the components (b) and (c) may be equal to the equivalent number of the epoxy resin of the component (a).
