Process for making a lightguide formed by at least one light-conductive plastic and an opaque plastic, the light-conductive plastic defining at least one light conduction path between an entrance zone situated in a first face of the element and an exit zone situated in a second face of the element, the said exit zone or set of adjacent exit zones corresponding to various conduction paths being adjacent to at least one end zone defined by the opaque material. The two plastics are injected successively and automatically into one and the same mould, according to the following steps: a) a first material is injected into a first mould to produce a preform; b) the mould is opened, the preform remaining attached to one of the parts of the mould; c) the mould is reclosed into a position different from its initial position in order to define a second mould of volume greater than that of the first and containing the preform; d) the second material is injected into the free volume of the second mould. <IMAGE> |
