<p>PURPOSE:To smoothly mount sheets of record paper by providing two separating claws which are movable in the mutually approaching and separating directions and springs for energizing said claws in the mutually approaching directions. CONSTITUTION:As sheets of record paper 6 are placed in a paper cassette 14, both end parts in front of the sheets of record paper 6 are brought into contact with the top of separating claws 17a. Then, when the sheets of record paper 6 are pressed in the B direction against the spring force of a spring 16, a force in the C direction is applied to a separating member 17 which forms a separating claw 17a, retracting the separating member 17 in the D direction against the spring force of a spring 26. Thereby, the interval between the two separating claws 17a is spread, restraining the deformation of the sheet of record paper 6 to be small.</p> |
