PURPOSE:To retrieve a number and a signal name in a programming device at the time of specifying a variable by allowing the number of the variable to correspond the signal name in a logical code diagram projected on the programming device. CONSTITUTION:The programming device 17 is provided with a correspondence list in which variables correspond to signal names at the time of specifying each variable out of logical codes on the projected display picture. At the time of displaying the variable, whether the signal name exists in the variable or not is decided. When the signal name is included in the correspondence list, the signal name is displayed, and when the signal name is not included, the number is displayed. Thus, the signal names or numbers corresponding to variables are successively displayed. Thus, the number and the signal name can be retrieved in the programming device at the time of specifying the variable. |
